I love the new look as well. I am only on Exodus in my reading but I can't help jumping into Psalms myself from time to time. I looked at our waterlilies yesterday. They are there just below the surface of the water, waiting on spring. Welcome back.
Dot, yes, all is well in the Skitt household. And thanks :)
Amrita, yes, a new look, again and again - LOL! Yes, awesome Scripture, I'm glad you were blessed.
Greg, yes, I like to do that too, it's very refreshing revisting the Psalms during my regualar Bible reading. And I didn't know that about water lilies. I love gardens, but I not a very good gardner :)
Hi ya Helen, yes, thanks my friend. I'm loving your cover to cover blog posts :)
Jen, I had to do a double take, Ma Kettle it is :) You're too fun!

Living the Adventure
Adventures... We love to read about them in books or watch them in movies. But what happens when our real life journey takes some unexpected twists and turns? I've experienced God's faithfulness in my life through the darkest of times. We don't know what life may bring, but God does and He promises in Deuteronomy 31:8 to personally guide those who know Him. When we follow Jesus, we will be living the adventurous life whether we're standing on the mountain or walking through the valley.
God has allowed me to have personal stories published in the following books:
New Release
My personal story about Deuteronomy 31:8 appears on December 7th in this devotional book
"And the Lord, he it is who doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee; fear not, neither be dismayed." Deuteronomy 31:8

When my first husband suddenly died at the age of twenty-eight, my whole world changed. What is life except for a gift from God to be lived for the Lord? I encourage you to consider today where you will spend eternity. Jesus paid the price for your sin when He died on the cross and rose again from the dead. Trust Him with your life... it's the only way to really live!
"You do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away. Instead you ought to say, 'If the Lord wills, we shall live and do this or that.'" James 4:14,15

Do you make Psalm plural by adding an S or did I say it wrong?
Aaaahhhh...a great scripture.
"And to this day..." yes indeed!

Helen
