A big thank you to two blogging friends who have graciously given me the Blogging With A Purpose Award. I am honored that these two women have included me on their list. The fact is, they received this award too and it is the reason they are passing it along. If you haven't stopped by their sites yet, take a few moments sometime this week and swing by. You'll be blessed for sure.
Thank you Angela at Refresh My Soul.
Thank you Sharon at Quiet Reflections.
You both in wonderful and unique ways express your love for God and others. I so appreciate the moments I spend on your blogs and believe you both definately are blogging with a purpose. Praise the Lord!
"Oh magnify the Lord with me and let us exalt his name together." Psalm 34:3
(On a side note, I read the directions for this award for the first time on Sharon's blog about the rules and originator of this award. You might be interested in checking out Eric Novak who started this award. Sorry Eric for not following the rules but I am linking to you here. You are a very interesting young man. I read your 200 things post (you know the one where you said you hate doing tags - but obviously love writing. You are a very gifted writer. Oh, now I'm sounding like an old lady saying "young man", why doesn't someone just give me a cane? I say this because my oldest son is just about Eric's age... [smile] What happened folks, wasn't I just seventeen, like yesterday or something?)

Thanks for commenting. I really enjoy writing for God. Writing is my main hobby :P
Does your son have a blog? I would love to stop by and comment him. He sounds like a cool guy. (hunting is also my hobby).
Actually this year I've only seen one candidate that I liked. That is Mike Huckabee. But even he has his foibles. On the democrat side I don't see anyone that I would ever vote for. Lol. I think George Washington would be a good choice :P
I didn't know that George Washington loved Ice Cream, that is pretty funny! I thought that he liked sweets, isn't it a legend that he had wooden teeth?
Again, thanks for commenting.

Hi Eric, thanks for stopping by. Yes, it's easy to see how much you enjoy writing. You are an excellent writer. I enjoyed my visit to your blog.
Yes, my son has a blog. He doesn't write often, but if you want to check it out it's: http://restingcontent.blogspot.com/
I also have a link to it underlined in my post and in my sidebar. I told him about your site. Baseball just started up so between that and a new part-time job, he doesn't have much free time right now.
And that is a true fact about G.W. loving ice cream. I did alittle research with my youngest on ice cream and low and behold George Washington's name came up in alot of books regarding ice cream/history. Now about those wooden teeth? I'm not so sure but it wouldn't surprise me he did have them with all the ice cream he ate. You know what those dentists say! lol!
